The process of modernising and rehabilitating an apartment in a housing block with standardised features can be challenging for the family living there and also for the team designing and advising them when deciding which path to take.

The fundamental premise was to improve the functional and aesthetic appearance of the spaces, while respecting the compartments of the original project. The most important decisions concerned the reorganisation and enhancement of the kitchen and sanitary facilities, crucial areas for everyday comfort.

The living areas have been updated with new floor coverings, and the entire apartment has benefited from significant technical improvements, such as the replacement of exterior windows and the implementation of an air conditioning system, promoting greater efficiency and environmental comfort.

The selection of colours and finishes was made with description and precision: neutral tones take center stage in the overall composition of the spaces, which are decorated with high-quality elements such as built-in taps and custom carpentry. 

The end result is a positive intervention, the fruit of effective collaboration between the client and the design team, who managed to bring the spaces up to date without sacrificing their functionality. Environments used on a daily basis thus gain a new character - more comfortable, up-to-date and timeless.
