GANDARINHA RENOVATION
Color and texture match
The project emerged from the desire to update the bathroom facilities of an apartment in a condominium in Cascais. From the initial meeting with the client, the desire arose to use a textured finish similar to microcement, where color would be preponderant for the new definition of each space.
An intense green tone was chosen for the bathroom in the master suite, while the rest of the bathrooms were given more neutral tones in the beige family. Microcement was applied to the floor, ceiling and walls, and a feature wall was chosen in each space, where handmade-style mosaics were applied in the same tones.
The faucets, woodwork and mirrors were also designed in line with this new reading, with a balanced contrast between classic and contemporary style.
The intervention also extended to the living room area with the design and execution of a set of suspended and illuminated furniture, and also to the kitchen area, with the lacquering of the kitchen fronts and the installation of a new compact quartz worktop.
The final result respects the original identity of the apartment, carefully decorated by the owner, but the play of colors and textures brings it into the contemporary.
